    fab32,

it's the front half of a '26 or '27 T Touring on an A frame with '36 suspension with '40 juice brakes and an A bed.

and a '35 Dodge gas tank!

plan is to Z the frame in the rear and channel the body the depth of the frame.

    prolly gunna use the Stude motor and trans in it;

I've been kinda keeping an eye on that project as you have been progressing. Is the back panel of the body off the T touring?
I'm collecting parts for a similar project. So far I've got a cool old oval gas tank, a Super Secret grill shell, a set of Ford wire wheels that have been professionally downsized from 17" to 15" (the backs are widened to 8", a narrow tube axle with a wicked drop and a Frankland Q-change thats as narrow as you can order from the factory.
I'm still up in the air about a powerplant. I've got some neat flathead stuff or I could put a small cube small block in it with 3X2bbl or a 6x2bbl intake.
I've probable only got about 10 years to decide these things as that's about how long it's going to be before I get to it.
I think I'll just see how you build yours and copy it.

the back panel is the back of the front seat.

sounds like you got a good pile to start with,

ten years? we should both be done about the same time.

I almost picked up a twenty something Chevy radiator and shell at the last swap meet,

woulda been perfect, short and round with honeycomb core.

oh well plenty of time, right now gotta focus on project number one.

60s Style........Like I've said before, I love your hot rod. I know you have dp-90 for the finish coat and I'm usually the first guy to go with flat/satin paint BUT! I see your car with a shiny, syrupy coat of competition orange.

hey Fred, well looky there [IMG]
yours does look like an Eelco cap, I think mine might be a Cobra..

cool, you could raise the sheet metal around it to have the body molding sweep around it.

I thought about putting it inside on the floor of the trunk with the tank under but it would be a hassle to have to open the trunk to gas up, plus you couldn't see it!
