I was in Austin a couple weeks ago towing my Tall T out to Mercury Charlie's and saw your roadster parked in a lot off of 620. I didn't stop but remember thinking what a bad*** little car it was. Another cool traditional car hits Austin. Congrats on the purchase. Like the new caps, btw. Let me know if you need a custom shift knob for it. Friend request sent.
That is a great looking roadster and I think the caps are a good choice. If it were mine I would have serval different sets of caps. I love 50's hot rods with caps!
four carbs on what I ***ume is a fairly stock engine. I would check the timing and start leaning out the carbs at least on the idle circuit.
I hope you weren't serious about a Top, as looking at the pictures of you driving it, that would have to be One UGLY TALL top
one fine looking car, i find lots of resemblence to my car also a 60's built look, not sure the year my car got roded
Looks like you picked the right hubcaps... This is an old photo off the vintage roadsters thread Theres this one too I love the car but I'd cover that firewall with some (maybe textured) aluminum paneling...the completely smoothed and painted look kinda screams street rod. The off the shelf headlights gotta go too...find some BLC 903-Js or king bees. Then just add some tommy the greek pin striping and you've got yourself a pretty convincing survivor. JohnnyA
