Go to bugattiaviation.com and check out their U-16 from WW1. Two vertical straight 8 blocks on a single crank.
When I was a kid Road and Track did an article about the new jag XKE with a straight 12. The article had pictures and was a real road test. They had everyone believing the thing was real until the last page of the magazine when they revealed the car was a one off build by some guy. It was pretty cool. Can anyone dig up that article? [QUOTE : BISHOP;3882451] Thats stupid. Wasting alot of time, and even more money has become smart yet again. Man, I feal stupid for thinking anything rational. Lets all devote money and time into taking a V-12 and turning it into two engines, then we can develop a trans to run them both in one car, then develop a backwards head, then develope an intake, and on and on. SMART. WOW Many things that we used everyday are things that people have said : "it will never work" "You Can't Do that" Think about it.
