1952-59 Ford Two deuce y block

Anybody have any interest in this? I got it in some other y block parts I bought. Vintage speed adapter on early 4 barrel intake.

 

I’ll bite. Wonder what that plate is to the left?

 

The '55 T Bird and Mercury were the only intakes, to my knowledge, that use the teapot carburetor with the choke mounted on the intake. Looks like the angled plate was added for some other purpose?
