I posted this on the Ladies of the Hamb and the guys started whinning,(One even joined - Unclee!) cause they couldn't view the pics. Tanya and I started out with a bobbed one ton frame and a cab (Thanks BenD). We have been gathering parts and here it is. We got it mocked up and it just wasn't what I wanted. It sat too high. Unclee came over and I said, I either have to channel it (which we really didn't want to do) or take two inches out of the frame. So Lee grabbed some tape and said take about that much out. So I did. Kicking my ASK! Tanya trying it out Unclee came over to check it out and suggested a fender. This is a 35 Chevy fender. Thats all for now! Kathy
Very nice! I've been thinking about doing that to my 34 frame also and this info will help out bunches! Thanks! Max

Hey, way cool. We are mocking up the engine in my '34 pick up at the moment. Just got some new heads. My next mission is to strip and re-paint them puppies. Hey, maybe I can then post some photos and turn this into a 'ladies '34 pick up thread'. He, he, .... no, I wouldn't hijack your thread like that. Keep posting your progress .... it keeps me inspired.
Well, i'm still whining ladies. Why...cause it ain't mine. Good to see your work. Looks good. Keep it up.
I think you got a twofer out of thinning the frame the way you did. Not only did it make the cab sit lower but if you look at it from an asthetics standpoint you really ended up with a nice looking set of rails as well. The curve of the top rail just looks great. Great work and good insperation for me to get going on my rig as well.
Meh.... just another car...... Yeah I'm jealous, you lady's are doing better than me! That has an awesome stance, I like it a lot. Doc.
Man I love how you dropped the frame for the cab, has a mean stance should turn some heads I'm sure . Looking forward to following it through keep the pics coming..
