My brother again, chowing down on the bumper of my 48 Pontiac...more 4" blocks and cut coils. The wheels were found in a buddy's rental house garage after the renters moved out. Another buddy sand blasted the rust and chrome off and I painted them to match the car. Baldy caps from the local semi truck accessory supply store. 48PONCHONSCOTTY.jpg 48pontiacropped.jpg

Here's perfection for me. I like everything on this car, even the paint. My '34 5-window has a chop of around 3.5 inches now but I plan to cut it down using this car as a model. 15 oz fuel coupe 3445203_orig.jpg

Hey '37-4D: That's picture was when I bought the pickup, came in parts... So was trying to figure how cool would be... Was very exciting that day... the wheel belong to my Ford f100... 650 x 16 mud tyres...

If we're voting, #1, and then #4, sans fenders, but put the hood top on.

Wheels, stance and top or windshield are probably the most important when a hot rod is parked. However, sound definitely comes into the mix when a hot rod is moving down the street of just fired up and sitting still. How about a topic dedicated to sound? My dream concert is various hot rods pulled on stage and each is fired up for a few minutes. Imagine the introduction of the musicians: "Ladies and gentlemen, we now bring the Stone-Woods-Cook Swindler 2 onto the stage. It is blown with 15% overdrive. The headers are 32" going into a six-inch collector. The engine will be hitting 14 raps of 6500 RPM."

That chopped '32 five-window is very unique and looks great...I love the rake. Perhaps this was built before the advent of speed bumps.
