Same ol' stance, different wheels and tires.

3rd item item for me is tires.
Wrong tires do not compliment the rim.

The thing that puts me sideways is a car that seems to encompass two or three themes in one, it just looks confused, see it a lot in that quagmire of wannabe "gassers".

The mix-match of themes (or no real theme at all) is what kills most cars I see at shows to be honest.

There was a local OT late 60’s C10 that had 5 spokes and wide whites…. Stance was right, wheels were even ok, major miss on the tires…but, at least wide whites are cheap so they didn’t waste money.

    A truck centered, color/focus/detail adjusted...

    Hello,

This is one of the best hot rod trucks in the whole western part of the USA. IMHO. The wheels and stance are definitely the key, but the black paint and cool flames don’t hurt the overall look, either. It is just the way it looks from close up and on the track.

I have seen it in several parking lots, on the streets and in drag race cackle shows. Every time, it presents itself, to me and also others, it is the epitome of a hot rod truck. In my wife’s eye, it would be a daily driver and show up on our coastal drives would certainly turn heads on the shorelines. YRMV

Great build and presentation for your black truck… It would also do well, even without the nice flames…
