Hey guys, i was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a Front Drum brake rebuild kit for my '54 chevy 3100 truck. Apparently it is hard to come by. I really just need a return spring, but I may as well do it all. The brakes have a mechanical linkage on the bottom holding the shoes, unlike most drum brakes that have an adjuster and springs at the bottom.
Also, the truck cab is not level. The right side is about a 1/2" higher from what I can tell. I've looked underneath and everything looks ok, the frame is in great shape, no rot, no wrecks. What is the best way to level the cab? Things out of level and plumb are like nails on a chalkboard to my...eyes. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
