I know this isnt the first time for this being brought up but, im getting ready to register my 29 dodge sedan here in texas but i bought the car in oklahoma and only recieved a bill of sale and would like to get it registered as an antique. Is there anyone here in tx that has gone through the same problem, and also i thought the before i had come across a post here on the hamb where someone could get a vehicle registered with a bill of sale and some money.
Get hold of your local Title Company and see what they can do for you. These folks are local, do titles all the time for a living and know the ropes, the courthouse personnel, the laws and the exceptions and exclusions. Not bad for a couple hundred bucks.
