Am I the only one who saw this paint job and thought of Good & Plentys?

Nads, the mags I got were the same way. It's funny to hear people preach how much better looking customs were in the 50's. I like the 50's style , but the mass amounts were pretty ugly!

It seems like they were able to make a 33 vicky look like a morris minor wagon, now that's an improvement

You're about 120K short.... Great workmanship don't really care for the finished product. Anybody have a pic of DeRosa's Land Shark, that thing is not particularly attractive.

I thought I was the only one that thought this car was ugly. Don't see how it sold for as much as it did.

First car that came to mind when I saw the thread topic. Saw it in Salina KS this summer, the craftmanship was there but that's about it.

I have seen more than one shoebox ford with a latemodel front clip know. No offence intended but thats the only way possible to make one of those cars ugglier. Has anyone got pictures of the early 80-s lebaron convertible with the 57 chevy conversion? It should be popular here!

So the make a fiber glass kit to convert a late model thunderbird to a "classic 50 ford" and then someone goes and puts a front clip of a lincoln? on a shoebox, haha. WEIRD...

It's the artist's expression of conflict and struggle. The "New" representing technology breaking away from the paradigms of "Old" . Done in various medias including bondo and steel.

    Uggggh.
