Maybe the owner is color blind and to him it looks bright red.

I knew a guy who told a cop he ran red lights and stopped at green lights all the time. He eventually mentioned he was color blind and everything looked-opposite.

I call shenanigans. Every traffic light in this country has the red light at the top and the green one at the bottom. It's not a hard pattern to figure out, and colorblind people everywhere manage to drive successfully and safely. Colorblind people also don't see "opposite" with red/green. They just cannot tell the difference between the two. They look like the same color to them.

Okay, perhaps not every traffic light. But honestly, how many of those could there be? At the very least, the guy would be familiar with the ones in his town.

Lord Almighty! That charts new dimensions in ugly. In concept it is similar to "The Black Flame" built in the 1950s by crossbreeding a 48 Buick with later Buick sections. It's the "Certs" approach to building a car.

 

Yep, doesn't go with the (classic) lines of the rest of the car...looks like a lot of work was done. What do you want to bet that a week later, after a 6-pack under his belt while studying his car, he said to himself "what the fuck have I done!".
