Yeah, I definatly agree on this one. I've seen quite a few pics of this butchered Caddy. Too bad, started out as a car with a lot of potential.....

Hell, that's a nice car, just a bad color choice.

Maybe the owner is color blind and to him it looks bright red.

I knew a guy who told a cop he ran red lights and stopped at green lights all the time. He eventually mentioned he was color blind and everything looked-opposite.

I call shenanigans. Every traffic light in this country has the red light at the top and the green one at the bottom. It's not a hard pattern to figure out, and colorblind people everywhere manage to drive successfully and safely. Colorblind people also don't see "opposite" with red/green. They just cannot tell the difference between the two. They look like the same color to them.

Here is one that has to be the cousin of the blue '50 Ford. I could
never understand Why they did this. Many times we've
discussed; "You don't put square headlights on a round car."
No one said anything about adding square fenders with square headlights?

I wish someone would fix it.....

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

What a pity that someone who was blessed with the skill to do that, was cursed with such bad taste.

  14. Lord Almighty! That charts new dimensions in ugly. In concept it is similar to "The Black Flame" built in the 1950s by crossbreeding a 48 Buick with later Buick sections. It's the "Certs" approach to building a car.

Yep, doesn't go with the (classic) lines of the rest of the car...looks like a lot of work was done. What do you want to bet that a week later, after a 6-pack under his belt while studying his car, he said to himself "what the fuck have I done!".

Is that Chevy an east-coast car? I think it was behind me at the Goodguys show in Rhinebeck ...

  21. maybe "bad taste" now...but if it was built in the 70s which is my guess.it woulda been the shit on the show scene.........

While I think the idea is cool, the execution leaves me wondering.

Huh, I thought it was a Zamboni, till I got to the bigger picture.

Is that a freestanding ashtray built in, or a trophy of some kind?
