I have a '50 Chevy panel truck myself, so when I spotted this one in the old town, touristy section of my hometown, I snapped this pix for my files. The owner is behind the wheel so I did have a brief conversation with him. The truck is nicely finished with the original-ish 6-cylinder, driveline, and suspension........ and he is a retired LEO which makes a nice connection. He doesn't live all that far from me either.
Opinion aside in this case it’s pretty accurate. You can’t say that for 100% of the officers serving but it’s definitely true for some of them.
Here comes a cop… all dressed in green… he’s not a cop… a Dairy Queen… I have not thought of that “ditty” since the ‘60s, who did that anyway?
The officer pulling you over gets the brunt of the blame...... But they're just doing what they are assigned to do. They don't pick their duty. The county or city prosecutor (or small-town magistrate) sets the policies on who and what "crimes" they want to try in the courtroom. Then the chief has to dole out the duty and the cop on patrol is the low man on that pole.
