This afternoon I managed to steal away from the office for a while and hide out in local "warehouse" shopping establishment. I found a great book that I'm adding to my holiday wish list..."Ultimate Garages" by Phil Berg. I managed to find a link as well... http://www.motorbooks.com/Store/ProductDetails_10636.ncm The book showcases some pretty amazing garages from some pretty well known cats like Jay Leno and Brock Yates. It got me thinking about my own space...or lack thereof. I know this type of thread has been posted before, but does anybody have a smoking garage they want to show off? Preferably something a little more realistic for the small space and smaller budget crowd?
It IS a great book... Check out the Jalopy Journal's little cousin for more inspiration: http://www.garagejournal.com Part of the Atomic Industry network...
I have posted these on the Garage Journal. This is probably smaller than what you may be thinking of, but, hey it's what I could afford and have room for. I just had this garage built over the summer. It is 36x28. For this winter it is storage to 2 47 Ford coupes ( mine and my dads) a 38 Chevy 2 door sedan and a 52 Bently that belongs to my father in law. In the spring I will finish the inside and have a great work shop right in the back yard.
yeah people need to check out garagejournal.com there are some pretty amazing shops in the forum...some make you not even wanna change your own oil for fear of spilling it on the 10k floor lol
