Ultimate HA-GR

    On the NHRA thread Randman mentioned the Gl*** Slipper so I looked it up on the net to see what kind of history I could find. This car was built in 1951 and ran at the lakes, Bonneville and at the drags. It ran a flathead Ford and later a 302 Chev. It surely is a step up from the Bug. Really a beautiful car. I just wish I had the talent to build a body out of fibergl***. I wouldn't know where to start.:confused:Roy

    Interesting car, the frame rails are aluminum channel bolted together.

    I think that car evolved. I doubt the first version was so sophsticated. I'd like to know more about the car.

    Absolutely beautiful car. I remember when it first made the magazines. Some things are cl***ic's, and this rail is one.
