I'm 23 and I have a 28 Model A pickup chopped and Z'd. I also fell in to the import trap when I was 17. Nothing against them though, we all know that without anybody else helping us out, this stuff would cost us a fortune even for a rat rod, when a Honda costs what, 10k and you still "think" your cool. Like someone else said, soon we will be the ones that everyone comes to when the honda fad is over.
im 24, built a 40 ford coupe with a flathead, bought it when i was 17, almost got it finished now, just loose ends to tie up. Starting to tool up for a 32 5 window project.
I'm 23. I couldn't even change oil until about four years ago. Since then I've had a few shoebox project cars and now I have a '52 Dodge. No one in my family is into hot rod rods but I got the bug from a friend in high school. I guess I like the do-it-yourself attitude of the old hot rod builders more than anything.
im 20 my first car was a 66 cutlass with a 396 4 speed wich blew up and put a 350 in traded for a 33 chevy coupe to a man named rusty carr lol i sold the coupe and i have my 2 55 shoeboxes but i realy miss my cutlass if anyone ever sees it flat black with bright green flames
24, stuck in florida, 52 chevy chopped custom, 65 hardtop catalina, 63 catalina more door all mine are junk right now, dont have the money like some of you guys to build 18 different gassers and kustoms like id like to have. one day ill get a 55 gasser, but for now i own junk and have very little money to spend on them, thats what happens when you buy a house.
25 years old 1953 chevy 210 coupe - sold 1949 chevy 3100 project in progress now also have a honda chopper, wont talk about that though I HATE IMPORTS not because of the country they're from, but they think 14 sec 1/4 miles are fast....WTF I'd have more cars but my fiance says she wont park on the street and the spare frame in the garage is taking up too much space with the 49 being torn apart. After the 49 is done it's getting sold and we are buying a house outside of the city so I can have my "MAN SPACE" as she calls it. And our 6 month old daughter will have room to run when she can run..lol I wish I lived in So Cal, seems like everyone has an A in their yard/garage.... I cant even find a piece of metal here that old,. Im so jealous.
I'm 28 own a house and a business so there hasn't been much time or money for my own personal projects but in the past I had a Chevelle and currently have a 68 Riviera but I am hopefully getting started on my model A sedan soon.
