i guess ill throw in a few words of my own here. im 24 now, got my '54 chevy 210 when i was 17 from my mother and have been driving it ever since. was my daily driver in high school and again about 6 months ago. ive owned about 15 other cars during the time ive had this one, and its the most reliable car i've ever owned. -j
I'm 29 and got my first vintage tin at 18, a 1961 Ford 100E. Learned to drive in it and slowly modified it as I could afford the insurance. Wrote it off, upgraded to the 1967 model which I still have today, then last year moved onto something a bit older, a 1954 Ford Pop. Restored that and built a hot banger for it and use that as my daily. That's the only 3 cars I've ever owned
Wow thats impressive...the young folks are taking over hobby! Im 28... Shot at 2004-12-02 32' cabriolet 32' 3 window 29' A roadster The car club I'm currently in is almost entirely comprised of 30 or younger, course the few guys that are over 30 are the more competent builders.
I'm 23.... I have a 36' Dodge truck, 64' Dodge 440, 57' Plymouth Plaza and a 78' pro street Dodge pickup....mostly stuff just sitting around taking up space...
turned 25 on Friday, I dont own anything older then my 92 buick GS winter car but I am buying both of my dads bel airs in the spring (both 62's 4 doors, 235 stovebolts and all iron powerglides. One is nice and will stay stock the other one is a parts car/project that turned into a parts car actually after my dad found the one pictured below. This parts car has 3 goals. low/loud/fast (well atleast 350hp). Probably 327 and I would like to do a 3 on the tree conversion or a 4 speed manual floor shifter. Granted I would like something older but I learned how to drive in the bel air so i am going to keep them in the family. Here is the nice one.
I'm 29, soon to be 30. I started building my '46 Studebaker at 13 and had it roadworthy at 19. I have owned/modified half a dozen AMC cars in college and just built my '29 A RPU last year in my kitchen after work. I have had 20 cars and 5 trailers up to this point. I like to keep about 5 cars on the road at one time so I always have something to drive to work even if the other four are broke down (which was the case two weeks ago). Josh Quick
