Great read, on what the newer crop of rodders are up to. Sorry, but I've long since slipped into the geezer category at 55 (gasp!) years. I've learned that few things keep you as young as being connected to the craft(s) that bring you happiness. If it appears that cubic dollars and power are were it's at, just keep digging a little deeper, things will reveal for what they are. And it's really you guys that carry the craft forward, so break-a-leg! Show-em how it's done.(Best of luck)
27 here. My first car was a '68 Mercury Cougar XR7. I've had a ton of pretty cool cars since then, but I've never had as much enthusiasm as I do with this 48 F-1.
Jeez, Just turned 30 in April, and it took me 6 months to figure out I am not in my 20's (numerically at least) and be okay with it! This just screws me all up! Anyway, had my avatar F-100 since I was 16, but the ride I miss the most other than my '64 Riviera is this '50 Coronet. I had it before I was 30, so does that count too?
27 years old and driving a 57 chev 210. There's a few people around London On that are young and into cool cars, but not too many. .
Twenty-six here. 54 Buick - 63 Mercury S-55 (anyone have a set of front fenders and a breeze-away rear glass?) - 49 Ford F3 - 48 GMC tonne and a half truck - Two 49 Chevrolet Tonne and half trucks - 86 Crown Vic(my guilty pleasure lowrider project) - Fifties era Schwinn Typhoon custom - 76 Yamaha 650 Vert. Twin engine with a frame being built around it. I am in need of a sponsor, brunette or raven headed, trustfunded. Anyone have any leads there? I'm not pickey
Just turned 30 and I drive a 30 Ford 5 window coupe/ also have a 60 Galaxie Mild Custom. My first was a 65 Mustang Fastback in High school. As I got older my taste in cars got older and it seems that I found my Match and Fire with this Sickness we all share and Hot Rodding! Feels good to be A 30 in A 30
That'd be Paris Hilton bawling about having to serve her jail sentence for DUI or driving revoked or some such. Rich, spoiled, and stupid, caught doing something dumb and sentenced to a couple of weeks (where any one of us would have had the book thrown at us), and then thought she could scoot out from under it with a wink and a smile. That pic was taken just after she found out that wouldn't fly in this instance. I believe that is typically called a "Reality Check". Or, as my old man would say - "Life's a bitch, and then you die."
im 22 it all started when my brother (25 now) got his first car a 69 nova then my dad decided he wanted his dram car a 58 impala so we restored that then it was my turn i got a 46 willys jeep i built when i was 15 then a freing gave me his dead 240sx so i drove that a while and that got me into sports cars eventually found my 82 911sc (was looking for a porsche since before the nissan. Now the porsche is running out of things to fix on it so im thinking of getting another progect maby a 32 pickup or a vw of some sort
I'm 16. Been building and driving my '64 F100 that I found at an old mill since I was 14. The old truck and I. God I love it.
I'm 13, no shit. I plan on getting ahold of my sister's '65 Falcon, or a '65 Monza, but there's a nice 1940 ford pickup around..
