Hi guys. i just wanted to show off one of our fellow HAMB members. In my opinion he is an exceptional builder, customizer and has a great vision of the late 50's and early 60's and applies it to today's kustom car world. His name is Tommy Herrera, he lives out in Bakersfield CA and he has built, customized, painted, and pinstriped many cars in his day. i just wanted to give you the "greatest hits" if you will of what he has done! I had the priviledge of working with him in his shop for 2 years and learned so much. Now i send my cars back to him to have them finished... one at a time... He's the guy that you won't see behind a computer very often at all, in fact, it will probably be months before he is even aware that i'm writing about him here... but he IS the guy that you will see at every show, DRIVING an old car in every time and parking along side other builds he has done for his clients and friends. you can find him on facebook for more photos of his builds.. but here is what i have scooped up real quick. if he did paint on your ride, please post a photo! xoxo Facebook = facebook.com/DiabloArtwerks http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/member.php?u=24427 his profile is here if you are interested in checking him out. first, my studebaker. he JUST painted it this week and is color sanding and buffing it as i write this. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=15469&pictureid=386506 my 1954 ford Joe from the Hoods CC owns this one, tommy did the base, tape fades and pinstripes! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=7607&pictureid=296228
