Under slung frames?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Tiny, Dec 30, 2004.

  1. Just got back from the Blackhawk auto museam today. There were a couple of cars there with underslung frames. Meaning the suspension ran above the frame. Has anyone ever tried this or seen it tried? It gives me ideas for a project I have been collecting parts for about ten years to build and might get to build in another ten.
    Thanx

your the best I just never thought to look at that post on upside frames. I had never though about the idea till I saw it on some expensive European cars from the twenties today thanks now I have some reading to do

  4. Yeah, man, I am looking at the idea for my next car. I first saw this in modern rods on Neal East's Modified, Sept 98 SRM. I was too chicken to do it on the Touring then, plus I think it would have looked too long on a touring!? Anyway, seache the archives here. This comes up about every 6 months!
