Since my collector cars are no longer subjected to salty roads, I wait for WalMart to have the rubberized undercoating on sale and I stock up. Will one brand last 40 years instead of 35? Somebody that will still be around will have to attest to that. People spend a lot of money on high tech undercoatings and sound deadeners. I've never found it necessary. JMO

I agree with porknbeaner on using bed liner. I even use it on the floor inside under the carpet. After it dries, even gas won't effect it.

395A found at Napa or paint supplies. I can't imagine trying to remove bed liner spray to make a repair or rebuild.

DING DING DING DING DING!!! We have a winner!

Spray cans stay tacky and collect dirt. Bedliner is the latest fashion, it's rough, and it collects dirt. Grease is, well, greasy! The old Ziebart type shit is also tacky. Body Shutz will dry like a hard rubber, it's paintable if you want to, it won't look like dried muddy dirt in 3 months and will almost ALWAYS wash off to looking new again if you apply it smooth enough.

I use a spray rubberized undercoat, fairly cheap at my local hardware store. It is also paintable.

spray on bedliner is great, but you better be sure you dont need to make changes. I still plan on using

Ive used kits from this company twice, its nice because you can add as much or little "grit" for texture as you want. colors available.
had one truck with this bedliner for 6 years, very happy with the product. I shot a heavier texture on the floor of the bed than I used on the bed rails. give a lot of control.

car wash spray wax will make any bedliner look like shit, requires a bristle brush scrubbing with dish soap to get the wax off.
