Good call on the VW colours, lots of nice two tone campers out there and thanks Cymro, I was looking for that site but couldn't remember it.

I managed to get a few picks out of Bobj's gif, what do you think?

    Light beige

    Darker beige

    Pale yellow

    Pale green

    Pale blue

A couple of two tones, not sure if it's just me but does the dark colour on top make it look taller?

After looking at these I'm starting to think body coloured steelies though, saying that it's already about a foot lower which does give a completely different look.

    Hmmm......

I personally love Bobby Green's Stude truck. It's the nicest shade of baby blue out there and I will be asking bobby where he got it when the time comes to paint my coupe.

    Thanks for the pic brandy!

love this truck. subs***ute 1950 Ford pickup Alpine Blue for the orange and you've got a winner.

"Alpine BLue" is very subtle -- great with black steelies and would make a great single-color choice if you decide not to two-tone her. I'd use a Ford "Wimbledon White" for the cream.

thanks for letting us chip in our opinions. Love the truck.

Love that Stude but too showy for me

Bobj, any chance you could do a version in light beige (inc headlight surrounds) with a off white grille and maybe the same with the cream from the orange and cream two tone one?

    Cheers

Here's a quicky with the cream color, you should be able to get the idea from it:

Cheers Bob, much appreciated and I'm liking the cream a lot, needs some chrome to support it I think though.

This is the one I originally mocked up for my truck... I have since changed my mind and am going all dark blue with red accents, striping and wheels.
