Yeah, had a hellof a good time!! SWMBO said, as I walked in the door at late thirty sat. night "Looks like you had a good time". I wanted to get in on some cutting and stitiching, but it looked like Paul, Keith, and Beetle had it covered. I'm up for it again next year.
I think I would like to do something different next year. Maybe a section or something involving some lead work.
If you're itching for something different, you can come up this weekend and do the quarter patches on my wagon
I would do it again too. It was a lot of hard work, but at the same time, it was more fun than a barrel O monkeys. I can't wait for the next one.
something different sounds ok too, like maybe a straight axle, rear end and big motor, transmission swap? a gasser roller in two days.. Paul
LOOOKIN good guys, wish I could of made it out to watch. you baily's goin out to the arlington reunion next weekend.
Hey Theo, don't think I'll get to Canada anytime soon. My**** still hurts from the border reamin last time. No Arlington either but I will be at Seaside if anyones going.
thanks, anybody notice we forgot to ask for the thousand dollars? oh that's right, this aint California Paul
Paul, Nice try! This is a traditional 50's board. so I figure the labor at about $2.50 an hour and by your estimate of 16 hours that comes to about 40 bucks a head. But the knowledge & friends we gained was worth a million. see you next time Jim
Sound like you guys had a blast. As a bonus, the chop looks like it turned out great. I like the new line. Not too much, just right.
Didn't get to see the finished product on Sunday. But the work I saw you guys do Saturday was great. Would have loved to help, but it looked like you guys were almost stepping on top of each other.
[ QUOTE ] HAHA, that cracked me up Paul... I was actually thinking about that today... [/ QUOTE ] so that means the checks in the mail! Right?
What rear window was used? that isnt the stock one? that chop is bad****, i have a 49 chev buisness coupe that i really wanna chop, but its really round......
