Awesome! My dad was telling me about the exchange program they had with UFRA where they would send one of there cars (southern California) to Australia and they would send one of their cars back! So maybe we can do something like that now with your cars and one of ours :D:D:D

No, not yet. Just starting my flathead FED so haven't had a real reason to go but plan to. Did join their group last year, they had a race scheduled here and I was going to run a street car with them but they cancelled at the last minute. From what I'm hearing that is happening fairly regularly and when they do have a race there isn't much in the way of a car count. That's why I'm interested in this UFRA. I'd love to be involved in something that could generate a decent car count. I'd have no issues traveling anywhere in the southwest (geez, I live in Albuquerque so we're use to travel for anything cool car wise!) for a good show several times a year. By the same token, if there was enough interest I'm sure I could get our local track to host a show as well. Bottom line, I want to build a flathead dragster and I need somebody to play with:D.

Look for the little blue flathead dragster the "Antique Doll" and we will have a UFRA sign out there as well! Hope to see you out there!

I want to be included out here in West Texas. I have an original TE440, but will not run it because it was built in the 50's but am going to talk to K. Tardel about getting a chassis fron him. I have a couple of good 8ba motors that I can build up and a buddy who wants to drive. Keep me in the loop!

  13. Can't make it over to Cali. for the party but sent a pm to get on the list.

  14. Enjoy the party and have a great XMas.....................

Consider having some inline 6 competitions...that would be wild. Good luck, Mike

Sorry guys for the slow updates. Well as of right now we are planning a meet and greet for so-cal members to discuss potential races that will be coming up (Eagle Field, Antique Nationals, Barona Test and Tune nights)

We would like to have a newsletter out by the end of next month... TIME would sure make things much easier huh?

Plus.. at the moment its top secret BUT we have a new addition to our personal dragster family so we are dealing with that at the moment... but more on that later!

Hang in there guys. We are moving forward!

  28. Dimitri, thanks for the update.
