Anyone know what this master cylinder is off, all i know is it was not OEM on my '46 merc!!

It was was bolted to the firewall as pedals have been converted from stock floor mounted to swing pedals.

    It's marked:

    WAGNER LOCKHEED on one side

    and

    F E 14740

    U.S.A.

    on the other

As you can see it has a four bolt mounting pattern with the holes being :

3 3/16 inches apart horizontally and

    2 5/16 inches apart vertically

    ANYONE GOT ANY IDEAS??

HELP!! Car goes so much faster when it can stop at the other end!!

It sure looks like the one on my 57 Ford passenger car with a 1" bore. I think it fits several years.

Carquest interchange for the FE14740 casting number is Carquest brake parts number E151210. It fits various Fords (Edsel and Mercury) 1952-1960. I can get you a brand new one if you need it.
