hey guys, this got blown away in the meltdown, so i'll post it again. the only thing i like less abou the new HAMB than the old HAMB is the way the posts that have been added to since your last visit are made bold. the new HAMB seems to "unbold" the posts after some amount of time logged in (maybe an hour?), which also removes the little downward arrow > ****on, which can be a bit of a pain... i can't find a setting in the user CP... is this something that is user configurable, or is it a board-wide setting that us mere mortals can't change? i only get to visit the HAMB every couple of days now, which means my visits often last well over an hour, and i'd like unread posts to remain in the bold, "unread" state until i'm good and ready. any ideas?
I think it does that after a certain amount of time with no activity,15-20 mins maybe? So don't try to juggle the HAMB with any other chores. It's a minor inconvenience that I can deal with in comparison to all the other B/S I've got going on in my life now. Billy
