Doubt I'll be posting much but figured I should introduce myself anyway. Been into cars since I was born, mom was a 50's chick and she's the one that raised me. Always wanted a real Hot rod and have had muscle cars instead. Just sold my second 1970 Buick and most familiar with the Buick family of engines post 64. Poor health, inexperience, and a general lack of the ability to "just learn" in a hands on way don't really allow me to work on cars very much, but photography and reading keep it interesting. Hopefully, I'll eventually be able to be picked on for being that guy that just bought his Hot Rod, but I promise you, it will be purchased from another backyard hot rodder, and it will be respected much more than the typical buy it and dont get dirty kind of person. That is, unless someone wants to volunteer time and money to teach me something. I'll try to contribute where I can, maybe in Buick specific questions, otherwise I'll just be absorbing everything I possibly can. Thanks for this board, sharing your knowledge, and allowing those of us less capable to see how things are done. I have photos of my most recent '70 GS, maybe I'll try to dig them up if people want to see them.
