I just got this picture from a workmate. A cousin found the front axel in a backyard. He asked me if i can id it, i can not. Does anyone of You know what it can be from. The bend is on both sides.
Eventually someone has been parting a Lincoln -46 in the area a long time ago. Can it be from that car maybe?
    Thanks in advance, guys.

I have some nice spindles off of a Lincoln, would love to use them but the king pin is bigger and they wont fit a ford axle! [IMG]If anyone needs em, I`ll take $50 to a HAMBer.

hey****dagger why couldnt you bore out the axle to suit? if the space is too wide between the spindle bosses the axle could be built up to suit...
gotta be easier than finding more spindles for fifty bucks!

It'a a lincoln, as i have one just like it hanging on a fir tree limb.to use the lincoln spindles, you have to machine bushings for them to fit the ford king pins.the ford axel does not have enough meat to install the lincoln king pins.been there and done that. once on the ford axel and inthe frame, just have a alignment shop bend the axel ends for the right angle. been there and done that also.the lincoln steering arms have the perfect drop to clear the ford dropped axel without any bending, except for the correct ackerman.

Thanks for the info, I thought about doing that but I found another set of spindles which means less work! [IMG]
