    FOUND THIS IN MY FILES...A dude in our club race this fiat in the 60's.........won some big events.....I believe it had a injected hemi.the car was called Percy Also. [​IMG]

    Wow! Back then, tire technology dictated that cars spun the tires, rather than wheels-up launches like that.

    Notice how stiff the sidewalls are; almost no deflection...

    There is a fella about an hour north of me that has a steel one....Stock!....It could be had I suspect...He just bought a second glass nose to add to the pile......I got too many projects already...no room [​IMG]

    Man, If I had something w/ a wheel base that short and that much power I'd spend more time going down the road sideways than straight.

    Hmmmm....that sounds kind of fun now that I think about it.

    The one thing I really notice about the red pre-war car is that it didn't have the soft-covered top (or big open top).

    My first meet with "Hot-rodding" was a Topolino-Drag-Race car Model Kit I bought in `67 . Looked just like the one you posted , But is was Blue-colored [​IMG] [​IMG]
