"just a 289" glad to hear it, very nice sounding and looks like it has got some nice kick to it. :)

  8. I love it, and the grill looks awesome.

I haven't mastered the art of photoshop yet, but here's my paint idea.

Paint the entire body, gas tank, and most of the hood Burgundy, have a scallop on the nose and hood be brushed finished with a cream pinstripe to seperate it from the paint. "Legion Special" script on the cowl sides, and back of the gas tank. Small version of the horse logo on either side of the gas tank, and use the number 18. Satin black on all suspenson parts and pieces. Chrome the grill and the trim pieces surrounding the hood openings.

What would the Pierson Bros. do?

  9. With a 7500 redline huh?

Does sound very nice & seems to get the job done. Thanks for the info.

  10. Again, you guys are doing a fantastic job- I like it more every time I see it!

One thought- I know that it would mean redoing the grille, but what about tacking the bars behind the surround (rather than flush) at the top and bottom?

It's getting painted and then polished so just the low spots have color.
