Well it has been a pretty productive month working on 31MOFO's Coupe at the Dirty Compound. June was kinda messed up or should I say slow with a family reunion, vacation, and then the Hot Rod Reunion kinda blew away June. Got back hard at it on the Coupe this month and I have gotten alot done. I ahve been wiorking 10-12 hours a day at work coming home eating, giving my wife and kiddos a hug, and getting back to work in the 110 degree shop but what the heck the Car is starting to look more and more like a Hot Rod. Got the steering done, headlight/Shock mounts made, body pulled back off and welded underneath, put body back on, some firewall holes patched, gast tank installed, fuel lines ran down frame rails, battery cable ran, Headlights installed. tailights mounted, Original 32 dash installed with SW gauges, column support made at firewall, as well as the clutch linkage finished and pedals bend etc, Still lots to do. This is gonna be Mokan bound for sure. It really is fun when you can work on cars much less help design and built it like you want too.

Goals for the week include making the front windshield swing out again, patching some of the old 50's chopp and getting it wired, headers mounted, generator back from the chrome shope, fuel lines finished for tri-power, bleed some brakes, install some hoses, get decklid skin louvered and with some help from above maybe we will fire this baby up. May have left some stuff out but hey what the heck you gotta have a goal for the week. Heres some pics,

Wow fast responses, Thanks alot everyone. Yeah this car is really the first customer car besides some motor mounts, helping friends and stuff like that. It was really going good and at decent pace till this last month. THe Hamb Drags have snuck up on us and now it is crunch time. Oh well I am used to Countdowns. I have really had alot of fun working on the car and Robert (A31Mofo) has really bean patient and understanding of my full time job and family. I just really appreciate him and my pops for giving me the opportunity to work on it.

    Their stockers 35-36

Yes Slide I could use some help sometimes. I think I have wore out the help from the pops and the late nites with my Sister. Oh well it has got to get done. And yes I extended the putside of the pedals with some pipe that extends back to the crossmember. Should fix it up fine but will not know 100% till we get to shifting

Chandler, yes she (McKinley)helped me push it out to take some pics. She is the prettiest Dirty Mechanic I have ever seen.

BigKen, you are welcome to the shop/ garage anytime yall want to. Hit the mapquest 1013 Oakhollow Ln Combine TX 75159 or just call. You were about 10 minutes away from that park in Seagoville.
