thanks fellas. It's getting to be driving season, and the motivation to work on the car instead of driving it is waning...

I've been following your build, never really chiming in. Progress is great, car looks really cool...not your ordinary Hudson! I look forward to the updates. Keep at it!

Speaking of the gas filler, I noticed you opened the truck to fill up. Is the filler not hooked up, or are you flanning to weld it up?

No, the filler isn't hooked up. The car is on a Grand Marquis ch***is, and the fuel tank is behind the rear end in that car, meaning that the stock Hudson fuel door is too low to fill the tank. The fuel door will be filled...eventually.

As the other's said, VERY nice job! The car look's great..
I especially like the way the new roof profile slightly mimic's the body line shape, and size....
If you look at the three section's of the car, from the body line down, the body line to the belt line, and belt line to the roof, they are much more in proportion with the nice chop you put on it..
In this profile shot, it look's as if the car were designed that way........shoulda been :)
Not sure if you planned that or not, but it really flow's nicely.

    Nice job.
