Projects UPDATE #8: LEGION SPECIAL - It's Been A While - HERE'S MORE!

took two hours off the Legion Spl today for the other Legion.......THE LEGION OF DUNE!

 

Got a little further yesterday (Saturday). With both tank mounts tacked together I need to get them lined up with each other, so I cut three s**** pieces of tubing to the same length, squared it all up and tacked it.

I set that ***embly on the rear cross member and tacked it on. They will pull off with the removable cross member.

I think the tank placement really finishes off the rear of the car. I'm getting pretty stoked!












The "Legion of Dune" did take a long lunch and "accidentally" drove off the road and into a muddy field.

 

Kirk, That is sure going to be one mean looking Modified ! I hope my "A" Modified turns out half as neat as yours !

be careful playing in that part of v-town, you could accidentally on purpose run over some poor tweaker sleeping in the reeds. that place is so much fun in the winter time when it turns into a giant mud pit.

This thing IS totally rad. I wish you could keep the horse logo too, it is very cool looking.

I'm just worried about our hearing...just might want to extend that piece of pipe to the back of the rear crossmember.

Your car has a period feel to it, but is not a copy of anything I've actually seen before. Reminds me of the first time I saw the Bo Jones modified (and that's a good thing). Good job!

 

That's big compliment. Our goal has been a period feel, but not a clone. Minus engine and ******, it's pretty much what could and would have been done.
