Dude, if the PNW had the job that I have and my family could get here by car in 12hrs or less I think you would definitely be correct. I have no ties to the south besides some friends and I left my hometown for greener pastures 3 months out of graduating school. If it weren't for family being close (baby sitters) I would definitely be thinking about moving again.

I guess I'm stuck, but perhaps I can get on a schedule to start coming out there and visiting every other year. If nothing else Austin dude and Hotrod-40 better be there too! I'll keep my rumble seat open for you two goons to hitch rides while we're there.

Small update, worked on the coupe a little yesterday. Got old wheel well cut all the way.

New one tacked in, and about 1/4 welded in. Promised I would watch the super bowl, so there went most the day:(

I think ,when you are building a car that don't have a bottom at ALL to start with, they will fit just fine.

    Nice chop..

Probably so. Yeah, but your flying down so you'll be one of those wieners that has to hitch rides everywhere from some dude with a '47 Ford with air bags and two missiles in the back of the bed with a sweet olive drab paint job running a John Deer diesel engine hahah!! I am jealous!!!

Little bit of an update. I have been collecting parts for the new front end. I finally got it ***embled and it is ready to go in. It's a 32 heavy axle with 32/34 perch pins. reversed eyed spring and a couple leaves out. A wishbone. 32/34 mechanical brakes... yes mechanical. I want this car to look real early, plus I am hoping they stop a little better:D

    Wicked looking A!

The spokes really set it off, would look great with wide-fives too.

How much better does it stop with those brakes? I've got a set (32s) sitting in the back of my truck waiting to go on my axle and I'm excited for the swap.
