An update to the older discussion on Diamondback Radials. On the inside back page of the Septermber issue of Hemming's Motor news Diamondback Tires add states they are NOW accepting orders on their new Auburn Radials in many sizes in either blackwall or wide whitewalls in many of the old original 15" & 16" tire (not new size equivalents AKA fat tires) sizes as they are now supposed to be arriving latr August thru September.

They have been awaiting completion on the DOT certification & they state that is in the very final stage right now. I emailed my order but have not reieved the confirmation yet. These Auburn tires are styled to look like the original Bias ply tires & should be great for those wanting to keep the stock Bias ply tire look & have the radials for Better Hwy driving & safety.

Love to see some photos & reviews on fenderless cars.
I'm soon to be in the market, but not "holding my breath" for this long anticipated revealing.
Wait, wait, almost, just a few more months,.........?
I'll believe it when I see it.

I've never seen a product so long in the making. I called today (9/19/14) & was told that the "owner is in the production facility at this very moment & will be there for a couple of weeks." What exactly that meant, I have no idea. Upon further questioning, the person I spoke with (James) declined to be more specific.

Hope "they" roll better than the "new tire" roll out!
