The car is in a new shop. It is a retired welder who builds hot rods now in his shop in his back yard. It is a nice shop and he can fit two cars inside and two cars in the outside part. He is building a MG with a monster engine in it and he also has an early chevy that he will eventually build up for himself. I think he enjoys working on my car but he enjoys working on flashy stuff more (customs). I notice every time he asks me something and I say chevy orange or black he wants to offer up chrome or some other shiny option He has finished the brake lines, fuel lines, gas tank, front suspension, firewall (still needs to be painted black). The engine and tranny are in, shifter is in (just dropped off the e-brake stuff today). The rear suspension is done now. In a couple weeks it goes to the body shop to get the body work done and a coat of semi gloss black. Then it comes back to the current shop for wiring. I have been working on the front body clip removing rust and painting...I have the engine side of the fenderwells done and on sunday I am going to do the tire side of the fenderwells. Link to information and pics about my car...
