got to sniff lotsa brake clean and paint!!!!

then tonight i filled the roof on my duece, im not one to usaully do that cause i like a stock insert but it was more out of necessity, the roof was butchered pretty bad and it would have been alot more work to get it right.

plus if i want i can always put on a fake roof insert.

hard to tell from the pics but what do you think (to flat? to curved? ok?) i think it looks ok, but some times for me to viualize it i need les shit lying around in the back ground to tell.

With such a light color, the shadows and reflections make it almost impossible to tell in a pic.

i put used a patch cowl out of a 32-34 pu, its closer to the edge of the firewall, no reason just diiferent, and more dash clearence, the cowl was cut out on top all the way to the reveal below the w/s

ask four-thirteen what it was off of, i cant remember some kinda 60's mopar thingy!!

that was one rusty car. the whole thing was held together with pop rivets, bondo and a bunch of old street signs. damn thing ran good though.

how much work did it take to match the shape of the roof anyway? it seemed to fit real nice on an A coupe. four-thirteen

it shouldnt take much to make it fit, you cant bend em or they kink funny. its gotta just set on top and fit!! it fit pretty da, good after positionimg it in the "just right" postition! then i jsut traced it from undernieth and cut it out and started tackimg it in place real slowly as not to fuck it up. then wall ahh!
