oh forgot to ask, anybody have any pics of what the subrails are supose to look like around the gas tank area? i have an idea but not exactly sure, any photos would be of great help, im gonna call a friend whos got a 32 5window and go look at that one also but not till next weekend, also if anybody has the measurement of the gap between the gas tank and the bottom of the panel below the trunk lid would be great help. thanks****US

WOW!!! You aren't letting any grass grow under your feet are you? Great progress. I'm going to dig my '32 out of storage and bring it home sometime this next week but I'll probably be too late to help you with any measurements. Maybe I'll post when I get it here and if you still need some measurements I'll be more than glad to help out. As far as I know my body has never been off the origional frame so it should yield some good dementions.
Also I have a set of subrails (Brookville) for a Roadster but they are the same as a 5w except for the door area . Maybe I can get a couple of shots and have Fuelpump post them for you.

    Wow****us,

You always seem to be making progress, or showing new things, or just showing us cool stuff you have. Your 32 will be awesome im sure. Good Job.

was working on it tonight and rememberd i had some duece wheel wells so i went and got them down from the rafters and they had the rear kick-up area subrail ends still attatched so i know what they should look like now, but if any body still has the measurement between the gas tank and lower rear panel would be helpfull. THanks****us

Titus nice coupe, hey I dont know if you know this or not but a pontiac fiero electric fan & shroud fits perfect on 32 radiator, and 84 or 87 Ford tempo hood hinges work good as trunk hinges.

Holly*****, that is some damn fine progress on that thing.

I enjoy the play by play on the build.

I did it with my last two cars on my web site. I was takn' pics every time I welded something up. Now I am building my 33 coupe and have only taken a handful of pics and the body is already sitting on the frame. I'm sure I will regret it later.

Keep it up; maybe well see it at 50's........
