What about Derringer bikes out of Cali (hollywood/LA I believe). those are some very cool bikes/scoots.

  3. Damn Zach, that is cool as hell! Hopefully I will get to see one of yours someday.

    Best, MRAK

  4. Aww ****. I visited the Harley Davidson Museum a couple of weeks ago with dvanecek and PBRmeASAP. We got all hot and bothered by the old board track bikes and started kickin' ideas around... but NO! I don't have any time or money! Must get car(s) on the road...

You *******, that is so cool now I've gotta build one too. :D

    Nice work.

now that I look at that motor setup I recognize it. The guy I bought my 69 Scotty camper from was a dealer of those. He said at one point he had a pallet full but unloaded them to pay bills. too bad otherwise I woulda grabbed one.

dang it. i have most of an old Columbia ****tered around, that i started "restoring" after picking it up out of some guys' trash six or seven years ago... it would look so cool in black with some red striping, like a Vincent....

what craftsmanship! i was tracking your progress on the cabe too.

heres my bike, its an 05 whizzer with lots of old stuff on it. in true board track fashion, its got no brakes. for those of you who dont know, its got a 138cc flatty and tops out at around 50.

  16. A buddy and myself just modified our old schwinn styled bikes 20in to make them fit. He brought a motor so i thought i would modify my frame also so when i buy one after christmas it will bolt straight in. I know this post is worthless without pictures but my camera is being repaired, will post pics when i get my camera back. check the pic of my bikes first incarnation in the album on my profile

Here is mine with the first motor I had on it, a 70cc kit. I machined an adaptor for the rear hub because I didn't like the halfast setup for the rear sprocket. So far this is the fastest motor I've had on a bicycle at 38 mph and still pulling a little.

I've found a 1945 Simplex. Don't know if it's a motorbike or a small motorcycle but it's cool. Guess I 'll put a bigger engine on it. Perfect frame!
