Ok, the new HAMB is built and tested. It runs well, looks great, and has a ton of new features. Put lighltly, we are amped and wanna thank everyone that did auctions and other fund raisers to allow this to happen - cuz it wouldn't have it you wouldn't have done what ya done... more on that later. So... when will we launch? We will launch most likely on Wednesday of next week - very early in the morning. The problem is that the HAMB is so large and host so many damn pictures that it is going to take about 12 hours to move just the attachments directory over to the new database. It's pretty tedious stuff, cuz all hell always breaks lose in the middle of the download - something always crashes the server, steals your women, rapes your horses, etc... Bad **** man. Anyway, I am excited. And I hope you guys are too... This year is going to be a VERY big year for this place as I have big plans. For the first time in 5 years, I'm motivated to improve this place as a tool and that's just what we are gonna do. Hold on.

It's really cool to have a moderator that is so dedicated to his board. I really dig the color scheme on the new one.... for what it's worth, I appreciate all the work. This place has taught me more than school or anything else has. Is that mushy enough? As long as I can say fuckass, and the clock works, I'm a happy hamber.

My wife keeps telling me how much of a pain it is to switch servers )she is a network engineer). She works for a school district with 370 servers and they are upgrading their systems . Everynight she is patching into the network from home and doing downloads/ upgrades etc while the children and teachers sleep... So I guess that means no sleep for you on Wed as you sit and watch it transfer over....
