Man this is fantastic. Yup hot rodders are the best people there are, I don't have anything to send (Postage would be a killer anyway) but I would like to help out in some way.
Would love to see some pics of the build, has anyone thought of starting a HAMBAndy web site for the build? Maybe we could drum up $$ from a wider audience?

the studs are to go thru the buick drums and thru the old ford hubs..the studs that were listed for this on the buick drum conversion thread do not have serrations long enough to reach the steel hubs.(they just barely reach the steel(iron) old ford hubs.i think this may be unsafe because it does not anchor the drums securly to the hubs and the studs may turn in the softer aluminum ,when tighting or loosing the wheels.maybe some on here has a# for studs with longer srerrations on the shaft of the stud.this may be as clear as mud but if you have questions let me know.

i bought a set of DORMAN #610-132 & NAPA #641-1145 as recomended in the hamb teck thread about adapting buick al. drums to old ford front hubs.on both sets of studs, the serrations are to short to reach the ford hubs.one fix would be to drill and tap the drum and hub from the back and bolt them togather.anyone?

here is a picture of the studs we have.the stud in the middle has the correct stirrations to be driven into the 5/8 inch hole in the ford hub and buick al.drum.but the stirrations are not long enough to reach the ford hub.the stud on the left also takes the old ford lug nut (1/2-20),
and the stirrations are the right length but it is too small in diameter at the stirrations to lock correctly in the 5/8 hole.there must be a commercial stud that will lock the drums on andy`s car ,so he will not have to worry about problems in the future.total length is 1 3/4 inches,
5/8 inch stirration length+ or- a little.anybody have a stud selection guide for some part #`s.

BTT so we can get'r done for Andy.

We will soon spending the money that was raised to get Andy to Joplin to buy the parts that have not arrived or have not been dontated.

I have all the info for the adaptor and spoke with the supplier...so i will purchase this on monday. Adam at autowonderland will be ordering other parts for me.....grill insert for 32 shell and shifter.
