David, I'm thinking you are too old to have that much energy. What's the secret?

    Doug,
    1. I'm too old to know how long I've been out there.
    2. I forgot what number 2 was.
    3. I have a great Physical The******!
    4. Just 1 more car, I promise!
    5. What was the question?

THe Plymouths have great styling that make them a great choice for a hot rod. If you think the radiator is too far forward, just move it back.

Edit: Oops, I didn't see that there is 10 pages and you drove the car. I was responding to the 1st page. I guess I'm a little late! :) Your build is looking good!

Here are current pics after I installed shorter front tires. Besides looks, it took away the wobble I had been chasing!

Hey there! just found your post on Dodge build and noted where you live. We travel by your place on trips to California and have seen your cars. Will be leaving Tuesday for our yearly trip South. We're Mopar too, as we have a '34Dodge coupe with 340/Torqueflite etc. I',m currently building an A-V8 with a 59AB and was searching for advice on fitting those floating bearings! Found some good advise from fellow Hambers!

Great car, one of the coolest '33 Plymouths I've ever seen.

It's kinda a Plyodgsler! '33 Plymouth body, '34Dodge frame and grille shell, and '52 Chrysler Hemi. With a LaSalle trans thrown in.

David, how come all your cars are the same color brown. Did you get a special deal on that paint?

Yes Doug, I did! No wait, My Avatar is blue, my '51 is white, my '36 DB pickup is mostly blue and black and a little "brown". My '24 DB RHD roadster is Maroon. '27 is Tan. My '40 Tudor is black as is my '31 roadster pickup while the '31 coupe is copra and chicle and the '22 Screenside is black. Only 20 or so are "brown" ! TEE HEE!

Just love your car Dave. It's a hard decision between the 33' and 34' grills for me but the "cow-catcher" 34 grill is hard to beat.

We will stop by in the spring when we're "glamping" at Lake Billy Chinook. Have a good late-fall / winter and stay active.

I have a 392 with a Weiand manifold and a polished 6-71 that I bought to put in it but will probably skip the blower and run daul four carbs.

I just got the rears mounted up yesterday and drove it about 5 miles. I did not balance them yet, just to see how they felt. Rears are smooth but the fronts need rotated on the wheels and/or balanced. Steers easier at low speed than the wider modern radials.
