Anyone put a dual reservoir master cylinder under the floor in a 1954 Chevy convertible? My car has the stock 3 speed with 235 engine. I need to upgrade this to match up with front disc brakes, etc. Cannot find any info or kit for the convertibles.
    Thanks,

No, have not checked ECI, but will. The convertible has a huge x crossmember and a wider m/cylinder does not look like it will fit. National Chevy listed a changeover kit for a short time that used a Mustang remote reservoir cylinder. It was listed as out of stock. When I called them, was told it was no longer available. The guy would give me no info as to why, etc. Evidently it did not work out so well. I do appreciate any and all advise you guys give me.
    Thanks,

I did check ECI, they have a setup for 53-54 chevys, but will not fit convertibles.
