I decided to replace the 240 in my '67 e100 with a rebuilt 300. I've searched, and I'm not clear on whether when replacing the clutch, if I have to use the 240, or if I can easily just upgrade to the 300 clutch, which I believe is an inch larger at 11" instead of 10" on the 240? The most I've figured from reading is that the bolts might be longer on the 300 but will work? Any knowhow would be great....

240 to 300 are 9-1/2" to 10" clutch and 5/16" to 3/8" bolts, same length. The flywheels are only drilled for one clutch, but I ran both and 240 clutch and flywheel are fine with 300. Use your flywheel and 240 clutch.

  4. I upgraded to a 300. 240 clutch and flywheel will bolt up.
    No problems.
