Does anyone have a link to where you can buy the buttons that you use for upholstery? I've been looking but haven't had any luck, I know I've seen them that had like prongs on the back that once you pushed them through you bent the prongs over. I've seen old hotrod pics of them where they used them along with some foam under the vinyl to make like a diamond pattern on a door panel or whatever. I'd need something that once installed was flush on the back side. I'm no expert at upholstery believe me, I'm just trying to add a little something to spruce up a plain flat panel.

Don`t forget to use a washer before spreading the prongs apart. Scan0888.jpg

When I owned half of SS AUTOMOTIVE, we got them in big bags Mike. I believe they came from Miami rubber but I'm not sure.

Is that a club with the lights on, or a sex dungeon? Nice upholstery work!

It`s a factory interior for a Kenworth. I just cleaned it up and installed new carpet. Scan0887.jpg

Hahaha I was WAY off!!! Unless you are inventive. That is a great looking truck interior! I like it. Always been a fan of Kenworths, especially old ones.

  12. I used to buy my upholstery supplies from a guy that had a button maker. He would use your material so they would be a perfect match. There must be some shops that have that equipment still.

I have 3 extra button machines and dies from 22 up to 60., All the hardware needed to make them. And so should every other upholstery shop. Loyd, the big bags of hardware, they come 360 to a bag. One sided only.
