any of the hamb interior folks i need help in finding checkerboard pattern vinyl. roughly 1" checks prefered. most people refer to it as "race checks". marine quality vinyl would be extra kick ***. black and white is most desired but other options would be killer to hear esp red/white and blue white, green/white. it's for something we dare not speak of here. i can explain if interested as i may also want an upholstery person to make what i'm wanting if it's not much trouble. it's simple and i thingk i could do it but i may want several which may make it worth one of you guys time(it's a quick easy job for a pro). thanks ahead of time for any and all help...ken....
I'd make it myself - that way you could get the clors you wanted, the size squares you wanted, and a hand-made quilt pattern would be a LOT cooler than just a sheet of checkered vinyl ... but that's just my opinion.
You can still buy the herringbone stuff that like in Maverics and Vegas from an upholstery supply house. A friend who was building an old Vega did that about 2 years ago. Some guys use chekerboard table cloths like they use in those 50s style restaurants. Don't know if that helps or not.
