Has anyone used 35 or 36 spindles and not done so set up for cross steering?

More to the point, has anyone made an upper steering arm for these?

If so, I'd love to see them.

Your can use the hairpin style steering arm which is made for later spindles. You just have to bend it a bit to match the different bolt spacing of the 35 and 36 spindles.

I've got one and I looked at that but the threaded ends are too fat and I wouldn't want to drill the spindle out since there's so little meat to them.

I saw a cool looking arm on ebay this morning which gives me an idea for fabbing one with 3/16" though. It's probably more of an academic exercise though. I'm just putting a roller together to sell a parts lot I've put together but making it roll and steer would make me feel like I deserve a gold star for the day.

I should probably just work on cleaning up the Model A setup I've got and use that instead but getting the backing plates off is proving difficult. So the idea of possibly making something seems like more fun.

A 34 spindle is the same as a 35 except it has the upper steering arm.

Was it neilinca who added some material to the sides of the spindles and then redrilled for arms and juice backers?

I'd do what alchemy said and just find a left side 32/34 spindle. Would solve the problem safely.
