I wonder if the old lady was related to the woman that had placed the add for a original AC Cobra for $100.00 ?,... I was told this one back in the 70's.

Her husband left her for a younger woman,.. He called her and told her to sell his car and send him the money ????? This must happen a lot because I have been told the same story over the last 40 years,... but it's usually always a different car !,.... You would think these guys would learn not to do this !

This has been do***ented before. Except it was a "He" trying to pay for a *** change procedure and it wasn't a Corvette but a Chevette. Apparently tasted like rotten chicken.

I heard it first from the high school football coach's son. M***achusetts, 1965 or so.
We weren't quite old enuff to drive, so he probably heard it from a varsity player, maybe even from a competing team. It was no wonder her StingRay was unbeatably fast since it had 2 four barrel carbs AND fuel injection.

"Pardon me, but would you have any Grey Poupon?"

said the stately old gentleman in the hopped up Bentley, after dusting some chick in a vette...

Legends famous, they made a commercial out of it, just never showed the race part.

As I heard it, she got tired of always winning and never being pleasured, so she sold the Vette to some guy going through a mid-life crisis. He partied too much and had a heart attack and died in the car. By the time they found him, decomposition had set in and the car was a biohazard. It still sits in the city impound yard for sake for $500.00. Or so the legend goes...

That would be just about right. A little O.T. but I heard she used to cruise the Mekong Delta in a hemi powered drag boat challenging the patrol boats to race.
Like everyone else, we "just missed her" time after time.

Wow, such imaginations from our youth!

And I'm tellin' y'all it REALLY was true but she lived in northern Michigan and drove a pulpwood truck.

Kinda reminded us kids of "Large Marge"....she was easy & cheap! What more could hormones-gone-wild teenaged boys ask for?? :D :D :D

  26. From what my brother told me she was working in the Hamilton area in the late 70's early 80's . . .

Hey, it had a Corvette motor, so she never got eaten then!
