    Andy,

My prayers are with you and your family.

I am so impressed with you caring for your family and brother during your trials. God Bless You and Your Family.

I'm also in on the paypal debit.

Can he become an honary Alliance Member or something that will let him have a HAMB dash plaque or ?? to help him through this?

    Andy,
If it means that you have a chance to get better, there will be a time when you can see the friends AND cars of the HAMB. All of us want to see you on-the-mend, and having a chance to live out the things you deserve to do. The offers and wishes listed above are a small part of our support. Wishing you the best in the days to come.

Prayers sent from Oklahoma. Doctors + Devine Intervention = Miracles.

Andy, you are an inspiration to us all. One tough customer. When you beat this thing we're gonna have to get you a tee shirt with a big red S on the front. Superman has nothing on you buddy!

I'd love to get a Church care package ready for Andy's voyage to California. What size shirts might he wear? If he's gonna be in SoCal, I'm totally down with JimA's idea to get a few rods and customs to the hospital. If anyone finds out when and where, please let me know.

Speaking from my hospital experience, we'd certainly need clearance from his family. I was only allowed a limited number of visitors and calls do the circumstances.

Chin up Andy. You're a rock star and this is a much better place having you around.

  16. I'm bummin'... but Andy's health is much more important than some drag races. Hell, there's always next year.

    Right, Andy...?
    You stay tough, buddy.

Leon, give Andy a hug for us.

Whatever is decided about the funds we raised will be fine with me.

If a project is the next phase, we could probably find a nice one on Ebay.
You'd almost think SOMEbody in Newfoundland would have a model-a behind the barn. Maybe that news story there will scare one up. That'd be cool...
Otherwise, I see a lot of decent iron on there up in Canada.
Leon's got access to all the funds, too, so we can all work together to get whatever it is paid for...

I'll be more than happy to be a part of whatever happens from here...

  17. Sorry to hear this...I didn't read all of the post, I get depressed too easy. Do they have enough to cover expenses yet, is their insurance taking care of them? P.M. if I can help, my dad, cousin, and best friend are in the insurance business.

I agree, the money should now be used to help with the cost of Andy's recovery and travel expenses....

Our prayers are with you little dude, and your family too.

Hopes and prayers from Paso. I heard an advertisement on the radio today about the CyberKivies technology and they were quoting it as being in Stanford.

For those that don't know that would be in the San Francisco Bay Area. That would be my guess in where Andy is headed in California.

Your friends concern here is for Andy and his family , I'm sure we all feel that whatever we can do to help is all that matters. Not making the drags is no big deal. It was a great idea that got the ball rolling on some funds this family needs. We are praying for positive results-Sololobo/Roadburners of Omaha

Man that's tuff! Let him know we're pray'n for him.

  29. I will be at the drags filming everything for my little hot rod documentary. I am doing the rt. 66 drive to just before the drags. If he is in California the same time as I am, I will go and see him.

If anyone is near rt. 66 and wants to leave andy a video message or something, I will put a some DV tapes aside for the little guy. I can have it all edited together and on DVD for him by the time I get to california. Get some well wishes and burnouts for him

RacerRick, that sounds really cool I just remembered that when my dad was in and out of the hospital with Leukemia he always really thought something of the small stuff and liked knowing that people hadn't forgotten about him. He passed when I was 11, and I'm 22 now and it still feels like yesterday. This has really hit home with me because of my dad going through all of this. Best wishes to Andy, and cancer treatment has come a long way since then, and with his willpower he's already got the shit beat.
