Urgent: Thoughts and prayers requested!

Just got off the phone with a friend who works for Terry Smith aka Twisted Okie. Terry's young grandson quit breathing last night, was flown to OKC Childrens Hospital and underwent surgery. Don't know a lot but he is about three years old and they are worried he may have brain damage. Keep the family in your prayers, They need'em.

Absolutely, I'm sorry to hear that. It's always hard when something like this happens, especially to some one so young. My thoughts and prayers are with them.

 

sorry to hear it, though his young age may be a very bright spot in all of this. around that age, the brain has a lot of "plasticity," that is, its workings aren't rigid like an adults. if there is some damage, there are often very decent gains made with therapy after recovery. best wishes...

You have to wonder what the old man upstairs is thinking when something like this happens. KIDS DESERVE A CHANCE. Instead of letting something like this happen to an innocent child, do it to some piece of **** who is killing themselves with drugs or alcohol. They've had a chance and blew it, the little squirt hasn't.

29 years ago, we were told that our daughter would not make it through the night(she had menegitis) but through the Grace of God, whe is still with us.
Prayers and supprot of many floks helped us and will help Terry;s grandchild.

I have a 3 year old also, and couldn't begin to imagine how the family is feeling. You got my family's prayers. Hang in there.

being a dad twice over, they have my thoughts and prayers.

 

He'll be in our prayers here, the little ones need all of our protection and concern. It just seems so unfair for one so young to be experiencing this kind of trauma. One comforting thought is that the Lord will not give us more than we can bear and he has a special love and concern for those who can't fend for themselves. I hope you can bring us better news about this soon.
