Hi and first of all I do have the instruction manual. Been years since I operated a machine but just picked up this Sun MD-1 and attempting to tune up a Delco 8 cyl distrib. I also now have a power supply and have done away with all batteries. Specs are: 0 degrees @ 900 rpm 14 degrees @ 1275 rpm. 4 degrees initial timing Since distrib rpm is 1/2 crank degrees, do you adjust the rpm to 1/2 distrib rpm and read the strobe? Do you add the 4 degrees initial advance to the strobe? Book doesnt talk about this. Thanks
